Programs for Kids

There’s always something going on at the library for kids!  Check out some of our programs below:

Pre-School Storytime

One of our favorite times of the week is 10:00 each Friday morning!  Pre-schoolers and their parents come to hear 2-3 stories and do a simple craft.  It’s a wonderful time to learn, discover, sing, and have fun!  There is no need to sign up, and all little ones are welcome.

Elementary Storytime

Starting in September we’ll have a storytime for children grades K-5 every Tuesday evening. These stories and crafts will be geared for older ages. Please join us for a fun-filled evening!

Join us on the first Saturday of every month for Legomania! This fun and creative event is a great way to invent and design new and amazing things. We’ll provide the Legos, you just bring your creativity!

Chapter Chicks

This book club is for girls in grades 3-5. Meet other girls who love to read and talk about great books! Participants need to read the selected chapters before the club meets. Chapter Chicks meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday.

Guys Read

This book club is for boys in grades 3-5. Join other boys to read and talk about great books. Participants will need to read the selected chapters before the club meets. Guys Read meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday.

Homeschoolers’ Corner

Homeschoolers of all ages are invited to attend this growing group for art classes to be held every first Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
We’ll be drawing something new in each lesson; we want to encourage creativity and provide a place where Homeschoolers can learn, interact and have some fun.

Supplies will be provided for this free program, and there’s no sign up required in advance. Just show up and enjoy!
