Public Meetings


A public meeting was held on October 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Library. More meetings will be held after an architect is chosen and the Expansion Task Force is ready to present the preliminary concept/requirement document.

Current Building


Bella Vista Library

Completed in April 1996, our current 7,000 square foot building was financed through a community fund drive.

Library Plans Expansion


The Bella Vista Library Board of Trustees is beginning a long-term project aimed at library expansion. As Bella Vista has grown, the need for more meeting space, work space, and shelving space for materials has become critical. The citizens of Bella Vista built this library originally, and once again will be a part of planning this expansion through representation on a task force which will oversee the project. The plan of action calls for seven phases:

I.   Development & approval of task force structure and membership (complete)

II.  Development of preliminary concept/requirement document for library expansion (complete)

III. Selection of architectural firm (complete)

IV.  Development of final concept/requirement document for project

V.   Development & implementation of fund raising campaign

VI.  Construction of new addition
