Annual Gathering

The sixth annual Bella Vista Library Gathering of the Book Clubs was held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Bella Vista Library. Members of all local book clubs were invited to come to the library to share with and meet other book clubs.

Philosophy, Culture and Society Discussion Group

This discussion group focuses on contemporary works in philosophy and theology that examine the nature of contemporary civilization and culture.

We meet every other Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 in various members home. New members are most welcome. For information, call 876-2597.
























Communities Thrive

Book Clubs

Bella Vista Book Club
Meets each third Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista. In September the club hosts the annual Gathering of the Book Clubs at the Bella Vista Library. There is no meeting in December.

Friends of the Library (FOL) Book Club
Meets each fourth Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the Bella Vista Library. November meeting is held on the third Wednesday because of Thanksgiving. There is no meeting in December.

Sci-Fi Book Club
Meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Library.

Working Adult Book Group
The Working Adult Book Group has been organized to provide any adult who cannot take advantage of one of the daytime book group offerings an opportunity to engage, share and unravel the mysteries of a new book every month. This group will meet on the 4th Monday evening of every month from 6PM – 7:30pm. In February we'll discuss "Little Bee" by Chris Cleave.

Teen Book Club
This group meets the second Saturday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Come tell us what you're reading!

Readers, Inc.
This book club for 3rd-5th graders meets at 9:30 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month at the Bella Vista Library.
